Part 2 怎麼計分

與整份閱讀卷同一套電腦計分:答對一題一分,用猜的不扣分,留空算錯。Part 2 佔 38 題計分題中的 8 題,以 CLB 9 為目標的話,這裡大約只容錯一兩題。

逐題計點

8 題每題只有對錯,沒有中間。猜一個保住四分之一的機會,留空的下拉選單就是穩拿的零分,所以一個都不要留空。

原始分數換 Level

Part 2 沒有獨立分數,它的分數計入閱讀 38 分總分,再換算成 CELPIP Level 1 到 12,不同場次按難度校準。

CELPIP Level 等於 CLB

換算是一比一:CELPIP 9 就是 CLB 9。答對約 31 題是 Level 9 的常見門檻,33 題以上可達 Level 10 到 12。

電腦評分,複查難改

閱讀全卷由電腦評分,官方明言複查幾乎不會改變結果。分數要在那 9 分鐘之內賺到,無法事後爭取。

行得通的 9 分鐘讀法

先讀圖表30 到 60 秒

與其他部分不同,Part 2 要從圖表下手:記住有哪幾個項目、價格和時長這類兩三個屬性欄,以及每一條註腳和限制。之後所有題目都掛在它上面。

邊讀邊補空格約 5 分鐘

逐句讀 Email,遇到空格先看前後句的邏輯:比較、條件還是數量,再跳到圖表對應的格子,把被圖表否定的選項逐一刪去。

答第 6 到 8 題約 2 分鐘

這三題轉問 Email 本身:目的、寫信人之間的關係、語氣和下一步。重讀開頭結尾,加上空格沒用到的句子,答案多半在那裡。

掃一遍所有下拉最後一分鐘

確認八個選單全部選好。還拿不準的,就選剩下最合理的一個,在這部分,留空的下拉選單是唯一穩輸的做法。

會丟分的錯誤

只讀其中一邊Questions 1 to 5

大部分空格的設計就是單靠 Email 或單靠圖表都解不開。候選答案必須同時貼合 Email 的邏輯和圖表的事實。

真數字,錯格子Questions 1 to 5

最常見的干擾項引用真實的價格、時間或特點,但屬於圖表的另一行。每個選項都要追溯回它真正出自哪個格子。

跳過小字Diagram Details

註腳、圖例和 only morning trips、no checked baggage 這類限制,正是題目瞄準的位置。only、except、unless 這些字眼是考點,不是裝飾。

把第 6 到 8 題當查表題Questions 6 to 8

最後三題主要考 Email 的目的、語氣和人物關係。圖表裡屬實但 Email 沒提過的選項,是經典的錯誤答案。

不捲動,不答完Time Management

介面自己都提醒你上下捲動看完全部內容,對著半張圖表作答是白白丟分。在一個空格上糾結到後面的選單來不及選,也是一樣。

關於 Part 2 的常見問題

應該先讀圖表還是 Email?

圖表。它很快就能吸收,而且載著每個空格倚賴的事實,值得用開頭的 30 到 60 秒。其他閱讀部分先讀題目行得通,Part 2 是例外。

答案的字眼會出現在 Email 裡嗎?

通常不會。正確選項是改寫,例如用 the cheapest one 代替價格,而照搬搶眼字眼的選項往往是陷阱。要拿意思去對圖表,不是拿字眼。

最後三題考什麼?

主要考 Email 而不是圖表:寫信人是什麼關係、Email 為何而寫、寫信人的態度如何。空格沒碰過的句子,通常就藏著這三題的答案。
