My name is Priya Shah, and I have lived in the Brookfield neighbourhood for almost six years, just a short walk from your shelter on Camden Street. Last Saturday I attended the open house you held for the shelter's tenth anniversary, and I left with a very good impression. Your colleague Rosa showed my daughter and me around the new cat wing, and she mentioned that the shelter is looking for weekend volunteers this fall.
I would like to apply to be one of them. When I was a college student in Winnipeg, I volunteered at a rescue centre for two years, mostly walking dogs and helping with adoption events, and I have missed that kind of work ever since we moved here. My weekdays are busy because I manage a small bakery downtown, but my Saturday and Sunday mornings are free, and I could commit to one four hour shift every weekend.
There is one thing I should mention. My daughter, Anika, is eleven, and she is the reason I finally wrote this email. She has been asking to volunteer together ever since the open house. Rosa thought children could help with some tasks if a parent stays with them, but she was not sure of the minimum age, and she suggested I check with you. كيف تُحتسب درجات Part 1
تُصحَّح القراءة آلياً: نقطة لكل إجابة صحيحة ولا خصم على الخطأ. يشكّل Part 1 عدد 11 من أصل 38 سؤالاً محتسباً في القراءة، فأسهل أجزاء الاختبار هو أيضاً كتلة كبيرة من الدرجات.
نقطة لكل سؤال
كل إجابة إما صحيحة أو خاطئة، والفراغ يُحسب خطأ. وبما أنه لا خصم على الخطأ، فالتخمين أفضل دائماً من ترك القائمة فارغة، إذ يحتفظ بفرصة الربع.
38 سؤالاً تتحول إلى مستوى
تُحوَّل درجتك الخام من 38 إلى مستوى CELPIP من 1 إلى 12، مع معايرة حسب صعوبة الأسئلة لتبقى نسخ الاختبار المختلفة عادلة.
مستوى CELPIP يساوي CLB
المقابلة واحد لواحد: CELPIP 9 يعني CLB 9. لهدف شائع مثل CLB 9 في Express Entry تحتاج إلى نحو 31 من 38، أي أن هامش الخطأ خمسة إلى سبعة أسئلة في الأجزاء الأربعة كلها.
جزء تجريبي غير محتسب
قد يظهر جزء تجريبي إضافي في أي موضع من اختبار القراءة ولا يدخل في الدرجة، لكنه لا يُميَّز عن الأجزاء المحتسبة، فتعامل مع كل جزء كأنه محتسب.

حدد من يكتب لمن ولماذا، وهل يطلب الكاتب شيئاً. سؤال «ماذا يريد الكاتب» يكاد يكون حتمياً، فدوّنه صراحة على الورقة المقدمة لك.
اقرأ الأسئلة قبل النصدقيقة إلى دقيقتين
امسح الأسئلة الستة الأولى وعلّم الكلمات التي لا يمكن إعادة صياغتها: الأسماء والأرقام والنص بين علامتي اقتباس. وتوقع أن كل ما عداها في الأسئلة والخيارات معاد الصياغة.
أجب عن الأسئلة 1 إلى 6نحو 4 دقائق
استخدم كلماتك المفتاحية للوصول إلى الموضع الصحيح ثم اقرأ ما حوله. الخيار الصحيح إعادة صياغة للنص ولا يُنسخ حرفياً أبداً، فابحث عن الفكرة لا عن العبارة.
أكمل الردنحو 4 إلى 5 دقائق
اقرأ الرد واملأ الفراغات الخمسة بالمعنى والنبرة، فالخيارات الأربعة تصح نحوياً في الغالب. واترك آخر 30 ثانية للتأكد من أن كل سؤال أُجيب عنه.

مطابقة الكلمات لا المعنىSpecific Information
يحذّر التوجيه الرسمي من أن الإجابة الصحيحة لا تُكتب أبداً بالكلمات نفسها الواردة في النص. الخيار الذي يكرر عبارة من الرسالة حرفياً فخ في الغالب لا إجابة.
قراءة سريعة تفوّت تغيير الخطةSpecific Information
تدفن الرسائل تغييرات المواعيد والخطط في منتصف الفقرات عادة. من يقرأ الافتتاح فقط ثم يخمّن يسلّم هذه الأسئلة إلى خيارات التشتيت مباشرة.
حل الفراغات بالقواعد وحدهاSecond Text
الخيارات الأربعة لكل فراغ تصح نحوياً في العادة. الصحيح هو الوحيد المتسق معنى ونبرة مع الرسالتين معاً، فالقواعد وحدها لا تحسمه.
الخلط بين الأشخاص والأزمنة والأفعالInference
الخلط بين الكاتب والمرسَل إليه، وبين التأكيد وإعادة الجدولة، وبين ما مضى وما هو مخطط له، هو بالضبط مادة خيارات التشتيت. تمهّل عند الأسماء والأزمنة.
ترك الساعة تخطف الأسئلةTime Management
عند انتهاء وقت Part 1 ينتقل الاختبار بلا رجعة، والقائمة الفارغة صفر مضمون. إن علقت أكثر من دقيقة فأدخل أفضل تخمين وتقدم، فالتعديل يبقى ممكناً داخل الجزء نفسه.
أسئلة شائعة عن Part 1
هل يُخصم على الإجابة الخاطئة؟
لا. تُحتسب الإجابات الصحيحة فقط، فالخطأ لا يكلفك شيئاً والفراغ لا يكسبك شيئاً. النصيحة الرسمية أن تجيب عن كل سؤال، فحتى التخمين الأعمى يحمل فرصة 25 بالمئة.
كم سؤالاً يمكنني أن أخطئ لهدف CLB 9؟
تحتاج تقريباً إلى 31 أو أكثر من 38 سؤالاً محتسباً، أي هامش خمسة إلى سبعة أخطاء في الأجزاء الأربعة كلها. Part 1 أسهل الأجزاء، فعلى أصحاب الدرجات العالية إبقاؤه شبه كامل.
